This work examines how today’s digital platforms fragment knowledge by combining rumors, statistics, research, and conspiracy theories into the same streams, detached from their original context. Algorithms shape these flows by determining what is highlighted and what disappears, creating isolated information worlds for each user. It reflects a present in which trust and shared understanding are increasingly fragmented. It is based on the book Paradoxes of Media and Information Literacy: The Crisis of Information by Jutta Haider & Olof Sundin.
