Var finns rummen för konst på landsorten? Vi vill uppmärksamma arkitekten Vera Spartalj Waters som ritade Norbergs Folkets Hus och genom hennes gärning sätta ett extra fokus på det utställningsrum som hon ritade in i huskroppen, ett rum för konst som inte längre finns. Galleri Vera är en ny utställningsvägg vid entrén till Norbergs kommunbibliotek som Konstfrämjandet Västmanland har utvecklat tillsammans med Norberg kommun, Teaterbiografen och biblioteket. På så vis återaktiverar vi en utställningsplats för konst i huset, uppkallad efter Vera.
Lovisa Axén (Jag!) har skapat galleriets ett permanent textilt arbetet som hänger i fönstren som ramar i utställningsytan med de fyra bokstäverna som tillsammans bildar arkitektens förnamn.

Where are the spaces for art in rural areas? We want to highlight architect Vera Spartalj Waters, who designed Norberg’s Folkets Hus, and through her work, draw attention to the exhibition space she incorporated into the building—a room for art that no longer exists.
Galleri Vera is a new exhibition wall at the entrance of Norberg Municipal Library, developed by Konstfrämjandet Västmanland in collaboration with Norberg Municipality, Teaterbiografen, and the library. In this way, we are reactivating an exhibition space for art in the building, named after Vera.
Lovisa Axén (Me!) has created the gallery’s permanent textile artwork, which hangs in the windows, framing the exhibition area with four letters that together form the architect’s first name.
